Piedmont College Cohort Page What is a cohort? A cohort is a group of students with similar backgrounds and educational interests who collectively take courses on site, usually at a local school in their county. A cohort is usually made up of classroom teachers from the same area, such as Early Childhood Education, however, teachers outside the field may attend in order to add a new field.
